About us
Wivenhoe Montessori was established many years ago and has had several locations within the town over the years. For the past ten years it has been owned and run by Joahnne Cousins and operates out of The Pavilion in King George V Playing Field.
In this time the Nursery has grown considerably both in numbers of children and in staff. Our staff continue to make huge advances in their own professional development and all hold a Montessori qualification as well as other recognised qualifications. We passionately believe in the potential of each child and consider ourselves fortunate to share in the lives of so many families. Montessori philosophy underpins the foundation of our practice and inspires our approach of love and respect for each child as an individual.
As you work your way around our website we will introduce you to our Nursery, a short DVD with Tana Ramsey about Montessori, our staff and access to our Ofsted and MEAB reports that will give you more of an idea of what it is like for a child at this setting.
