Treasure Basket Class
A baby’s brain is growing fast, developing in response to their surroundings through the senses of touch, smell, taste, hearing, sight and movement. The beautifully created Treasure Baskets are filled to the brim with items offering rich sensorial experiences for touch, smell, taste, sound and sight, and for the sixth sense of bodily movement, for the baby when they are able to sit, but before they can crawl. It is a way of giving your baby a wide range of experiences that help the brain to make connections and develop, the chance to explore and decide for themselves what they want to play with. Your baby’s curiosity about the contents of the treasure basket means they will often concentrate for considerable periods of time.
All the objects are washable or wipeable, and changed regularly. They capture the baby’s curiosity, and by choosing their items independently, they can explore the objects in their own time, sucking, waving, handling or banging them, concentrating for longer than you would expect.
